I truly believe in finding magic in the ordinary. I seek to rediscover the simple joys we've forgotten, to capture childhood wonder in my day to day. I strive to be endlessly creative and open to boundless possibilities. My days consist of doing things that take advantage of the present, feed my soul, and maintain an authentic perspective. I am an aspiring photographer, a self proclaimed foodie, champagne connoisseur and flower lover. I am a true follower of Oscar Wilde's immortal words, "you can never be overdressed or overeducated." I genuinely believe that people are inherently good and all differences should be celebrated. And finally, I love love, and my goal is to capture it in photos. To me, photography tells a story, it is the only language that can be understood anywhere in the world.
My favorite poem is by the late Raymond Carver, it is called, Late Fragment.
"And did you get what
you wanted from this life, even so?
And what did you want?
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth."
I reminisce on this poem each morning when I rise. I truly believe in it's message. To me, Late Fragment acts as a gentle reminder that affirmation of love, belonging, and wholeness of self, are the three tenants necessary to living authentically. I believe in living simply and presently, and I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to connect with others both near and far.
I hope you will join me.
Love and Light Always.
